span class="large"As noted earlier, one of the signature characteristics of an HDR image is the accentuated small scale dark detail, which actually makes them ideally suited to a conversion to black and white (Bamp;W) image.br/br/So in this screen-grab I've launched a Photoshop plug-in called *Silver Efex Pro and selected option 024 (Full Contrast and Structure) - it's on of favourites in exaggerating every element in an image.br/br/*Silver Efex Pro is published by Nik Software and is fantastic addition to your digital darkroom - actually I'd say it's a must.
