Impasse des Ursulines - Villebois-Lavalette

This is the Impasse des Ursulines, so called because the nuns of the Ursuline order lived and worked on this street from the late 17th century. The front door to the Maison du Couvent, (literally the "house of the convent"), where we now live, is under the arch and on the right.

Opposite us is the school where the nuns taught and on Les Halles is the actual convent itself.
